There is an urban legend in Japan about an underground subway line that moves without limitations. The rumor is only gorgeous men ride a train that is known as the Miracle Train. And if you were to happen upon this line, you would undoubtedly fall into a complete state of happiness. Being touched by a ray of light, granting her access to enter into the Oedo Line platform, where the Miracle Train runs. As the doors open up, the space inside is very different, as six handsome men await you inside. This is the legend of the Miracle Train and they are all personifications of Oedo Line stations!

But how do you get on this Miracle Train? According to the conductor, the leader of these six gentlemen and the female guide, when women have worries or insecurities, the Miracle Train will appear. With names matching the stations along the line, these fabulous gentlemen – whose bonds together are tight, despite their different personalities – will erase all of your worries and fears. Thus the name: Miracle Train. So, are you ready to believe in and ride the miracle train?

Spoiler: In this first episode of Miracle Train Oedo Line, the characters are introduced with a few trivias of Oedo Line. The passenger, Chinatsu-san had lost her dog while trying to get him to a hospital for an operation. Since she boarded the train at Roppongi station, he took the lead in guiding her around his area in search of her dog; and of the solution to her problem. Ex Libris’ Remarks: This is the youngest passenger ever…but super hilarious too! Who wanna see Tocho-san as a father? ^^ 
Spoiler Hints: Our passenger is a little runaway brat who’s searching for her father–a.k.a TOCHO-SAN!! Just kidding. ^^ To find her real father, the stations enlist the help of “Papa” Iidabashi for advice on how to handle children, and Toshimaen to act as their guide  at the Toshimaen Amusement Park. Roppongi-san follows the trio as the passenger had boarded the train at his station. The episode closes with Airi-chan proposing to Tocho-san and asking him to wait for her to grow up. ^^

Spoiler Hints: OH GODS!!! SUPER-BISHIES IN ACTION MODE!! In this episode, the entire Miracle Train stations are decked out as characters in a cop-drama and there’s tons of action in this episode!! You really wouldn’t want to miss it!!

Miracle Train Episode 11 ~ Proposal 3 Years Later

Ex Libris’ Remarks: This is a really subtle; emotional episode which we recommend any anime fans to watch. Seriously. The ending is just plain heart-breaking, yet comforting. ^^
Spoiler Hints: The passenger is actually a ghost who had died 3 years before the time of the episode outside Roppongi Station while waiting for her boyfriend, who was going to propose to her on the day she died. It was to be their first date in Roppongi, but the passenger who often gets distracted by incidents which may or may not require her help, was knocked down by a car when she tried to retrieve a blown-away balloon for a child. The episode ends with Roppongi-san fixing her phone and allowing her to call her would-be fiance to tell him her last thoughts and words.

Ex Libris’ Remarks: Now this is WHOA. Akari-chan, our cute Miracle Train guide is actually a PASSENGER?!
Spoiler Hints: Watch the opening scene–IT’S ROPPONGI-SAN NAKED!! In this episode, we find out that Akari-chan was originally a passenger who boarded the train a year prior to the time of the episode, and upon stepping onto the train had amnesia. Thus, to solve this complication, the conductor decided to keep her onboard the train as a guide. But since the train is detoriating so to speak, the conductor deems it is time to get Akari-chan off the train. Since Akari-chan boarded the train at Roppongi station, Roppongi-san once again steals the limelight! The episode ends with Akari-chan remembering her place of work, and turning into……an adult?!

Review
What we like about this manga are the wonderful artwork by the mangaka combined with her ultra-cute drawings of her chibi characters! This manga will have you smiling at the antics of the characters (and of course cooing over the drawings of her chibi characters! ^^) However, as of this time, this is the only completed english release of Takatsuki-sensei’s work, so do check back for more releases! Alternatively, check out Yamanato Nase-sensei’s work for more comedy and chibi drawings! ^^
